Alvarez Andres A drum-guitar duo as only American can. This LP is the culmination of a collection of chaotic demos that lingers between light and dark. Nick Casertano and Josh Greenberg wait in ambush, then explode onto different paths of shock and awe. Slippertails will never make it to the charts, even if they force their way in, which is a shame, as radio needs music like this. A Sonic Drug like you never did beforeLP available soon here :http://big-tomato-records.com/index.php/en/artists-en/slippertails Favorite track: I Wanna Take Pills With You.

Juan Gastelum The guitar tones are amazing on this. They are so scuzzy and sludgy like the Melvins yet so full of beautiful, hazy, pop. I also love how the front man channels Frank Black without being a rip off .The potential of this band excites me for what they will do in the future. Do not ignore this. Buy this immediately because everyone needs Slippertails in their lives Favorite track: Failure.

about

Front man Nick Casertano not only shares similar physical characteristics with Frank Black of the Pixies, but a similar audio aesthetic: "distinctly dark with face-melting feedback...a powerfully raw and meaty sound," best heard on tracks like "Walk" and "Hip New Jerk." The powerful, sludgy guitar tones are one of the album's best assets, but Casertano's apathetic drawl-- whether it's in-your-face or heavily sedated-- is borderline hypnotizing, luring you back for more every time the album fades.
